The Florida 2100 podcast is a speculative podcast series set in the year 2100, produced by Nova Southeastern University’s Department of Humanities and Politics. Florida 2100 transports audiences to a time where they can envision and reflect on the implications of their actions in shaping the trajectory of Florida and the world at large. Interviews with artists, humanities scholars, and community leaders enrich each episode with inspiring stories of those who have shaped Florida’s past and those who are forging its future. By foregrounding futurist perspectives, the podcast showcases the humanities’ critical role in transforming uncertainties about the future into opportunities for discovery and exploration.
